How to measure

  1. Stand with your heel against a wall on a flat surface.
  2. Measure from the wall to the tip of your longest toe with a ruler.
  3. Use that length in cm to find your size in the chart.

If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort. All measurements are approximate and may vary by about ±0.5 cm.

Care instructions

How to keep your stitches story-ready

  • Spot clean only with cold water, a drop of mild soap and a soft cloth or brush
  • Dab the embroidery gently, no hard scrubbing (those little books took hours)
  • Do not machine wash, bleach or tumble dry
  • Air dry at room temperature, away from direct sun and heaters (perfect excuse to read another chapter)

Additional tips

  • Remove the laces and wash them separately by hand.
  • Stuff the shoes with paper while drying to keep their shape.
  • Avoid harsh cleaners and stain removers on the stitched areas, they can fade the threads.
  • Store in a cool, dry place when not on a bookstore adventure.
